Grape Sound Lab is a professional recording studio in Alto de Pinheiros, in the west of São Paulo, Brazil. Its two rooms, with acoustic design by Renato Cipriano, host everything from full bands playing live to vocals and overdubs, as well as music production, mixing and mastering. It is the studio where WE4Sessions is recorded.

Studio A: the whole band playing together

The main room has a 33.4 m² live room with a wooden floor and acoustics made for drums and live instruments, plus two iso rooms, of 17 m² and 16.7 m², that isolate vocals, amps or a second musician without losing eye contact. The 23.9 m² control room has Antelope Galaxy 32 Synergy Core conversion, ATC SCM110 ASL Pro monitoring and Pro Tools, with preamps such as the Neve 1073 DPX, API 3124MV and Chandler Limited TG2.

Studio B: production and finishing

Studio B is the production and finishing room: vocals, overdubs, mixing and mastering. The 16.7 m² control room has Universal Audio Apollo x8p and x8 interfaces, Dynaudio LYD 48 monitoring with an 18S subwoofer and Pro Tools, with instruments at hand to record an idea on the spot. When the session calls for isolation, the 17 m² iso room is right next door.

The house

Around the rooms is a house set up for long sessions: a living room to host guests and rest between sessions, a meeting room, a dressing room and photo studio for photo, video and the artist's styling, a gourmet kitchen and a mini golf course for a break between takes.
